How might we visually communicate a literary publication's uniqueness?
Sonora Review Literary Publication
Nestled in the Sonoran Desert, the Sonora Review has been curating yearly publications consisting of local up-and-coming writers for more then a decade. Incredible writing stemming from the unique desert makes the publication special. To not fade into the background at the Association of Writers & Writing Programs conference in Florida this March, I created a bright visual language that highlights the uniqueness of Sonora Review’s home. Eye catching graphics with local flora and fauna decorate bookmarks, are featured as temporary tattoos and serve to leave a memorable impression. I also designed the double sided edition.
